Just a styling variation of the original TI-30. Compare it with the original design here. Interested in educational calculators? The housing of this scientific calculator was used with the Little Professor (1985).
In 10 years of production we recognized in the meantime four different designs of the TI-30 and - just to compare - seven designs of the related TI-30 STAT:
|Display bezel||Type 1||Type 1||Type 1||Type 2|
In the year 1993 Texas Instruments introduced a complete new TI-30X family in a smoother housing:
TI-30X New display with 10 + 2 digits, 3 memories
• TI-30X SOLAR With Anylite solar-cells
• TI-35X Adds 2-dim statistics and hex-calculations
• TI-36X SOLAR With Anylite solar-cells
This TI-30 with the 8 digit display was manufactured till 1995 before the TI-30S and its sibbling TI-25X Solar was introduced.
