We
located this purple TI-30X IIS in August 2010
on eBay and noticed immediately the different colored [2nd] key and the
associated functions from the original purple
TI-30X IIS calculator introduced by retailer Wal-Mart
for the Back-to-School 2004 campaign.
Disassembling this model of the TI-30X IIS manufactured
February 2007 by Nam Tai
Electonics,
Inc.
reveals a well known internal construction. We discovered already in 2004 with
Inventec
Shanghai, Kinpo Electronics,
Inc. and Nam
Tai Electronics, Inc. three different contract manufacturers for the TI-30X IIS.
