The
PS-6760Si replaced the earlier PS-6700 within one year.
The changes are minor:
| Using the PS-6155 Dock-station cradle to synchronise data was optimized. | |
| The display of the organizer supporting 6 lines by 24 characters
was enhanced with a greenish backlite feature called Indiglo. |
The
internal construction of the PS-6760Si is typical for the whole line of TI
organizers. A 8-bit microcomputer system based on a Toshiba microcontroller
surrounded by 64k RAM, 64k ROM and two display controller.
The PS-6860Si and PS-6960Si
got larger memories with 128k Byte resp. 256k Byte.
Everything else seems to be identical. It took another year
until the PocketMate 200 appeared with a better keyboard
layout.
