Texas Instruments introduced in Europe with the TI-620 a very useful calculator. Beside the basic calculator functions six additional keys enable the COST, SELL, MARGIN calculations. You enter either two of the variables and get instantly the result of the remaining value.

In the United States a very similar calculator was sold as BA-20 Profit Manager.

Dismantling this TI-620 manufactured in December 1993 by Inventec Corporation in Malaysia reveals indeed a printed circuit board (PCB) identical with the BA-20 and centered around an Inventa LI3163 single-chip calculator circuit.

Inspecting the PCB of this BA-20 Profit Manager calculator brought our attention to a small mark reading IOBA20-02B, we spotted this PCB-Mark already with the BA-20. We started compiling a list of the PCB-Marks on calculators manufactured by OEMs for Texas Instruments.

The stylish housing of the TI-620 in known from the earlier TI-610 calculator.

Don't miss the TI-620 Printing Calculator introduced already in 1974.
