The removable AA-sized NiCd-batteries were replaced
   with a solder-type battery.
The Bowmar Opto-stick was replaced with the cheaper
   LED-stick found in the TI-1200.

The calculator was manufactured at least till spring 1976, we know the serial number 1500544350 manufactured week 13, 1976 in Lubbock, TX.
