The
MATHEMATICS LIBRARY-06 Solid State Software Module was developed by Texas
Instruments for its TI-88 Programmable calculator system.
The Mathematics Library, known as "Module -6-", featuring 16 different programs in two languages (English/German) was announced in May 1982 with an MSRP of $40.00 for the TI-88. These programs demonstrate the calculator's capabilities:
• PGM 1: Table of Contents (Alphanumeric reference) • PGM 2: Gamma Function • PGM 3: Numerical Integration of Functions • PGM 4: Differential Equations • PGM 5: Solution of Tri-Diagonal Matrix Equations • PGM 6: Cubic Spline Interpolation of Data • PGM 7: Superplotter (Plots up to 99 functions, builds as large of a graph as needed with multiple printer strips) • PGM 8: Convolution • PGM 9: Complex Functions (Complex number calculations) • PGM 10: Find Relative Minimum of Functions (Using golden search) • PGM 11: Hyperbolic Functions • PGM 12: Matrix Calculations • PGM 13: Complex Number Matrices • PGM 14: Root Finder (Find roots of equations) • PGM 15: Polynomial Newton-Raphson Multiplication • PGM 16: Find the prime factors of a number |
