The BA-II PLUS uses two modes of operation: the standard-calculator mode like a simple TI-30 and the prompted-worksheet mode similar to the FIA-10.

Standard-Calculator Mode

• Time-value-of-money (TVM) calculations using N,I/Y,PV,PMT,FV

Prompted Worksheet Mode

• Cash flow calculations

In France the original BA-II PLUS survived into the year 2001. 

Texas Instruments announced January 7, 2004 with the BA II PLUS PROFESSIONAL an improved successor of the BA II PLUS. Main differences are:

• More stylish housing
• Improved display
• Additional capabilities

When Texas Instruments released in 2004 the redesigned TI-30X IIS even the BA II PLUS got some new clothes. Don't miss the new BA II PLUS.
