This Money Manager manufactured in Brazil looks different from the US version! You'll notice immediately the brown housing from the "The MBA" instead the black housing from the TI-30.

The backside of the calculator states in proud letters "Made in Brasil" and the manufacturer is given with Texas Instrumentos Eletrônicos do Brasil Ltda. - Campinas. Later Texas Instruments calculators sold in Brazil like the SR-40 LCD were assembled by Indústrias Gerais da Amazonia S.A..

Dismantling the Money Manager reveals a well known internal construction but the single-chip calculator circuits sports a very uncommon designation JP0982. It is probably identical with the TMC0982 found in the US built Money Manager.
