This TI-52 SOLAR calculator sold in Europe is identical to the TI-37 Galaxy Solar known from other markets.

Dismantling this TI-52 SOLAR manufactured in February 1988 by Toshiba in Japan reveals a very clean design centered around a T7768 single-chip calculator circuit.

The TI-52 introduced in the same year operates on batteries instead the solar cells.
