The
TI-5005 II is a typical low-cost printing calculator using normal paper. It is
the direct successor of the TI-5005. The featured
calculator calculator was manufactured by Inventec
Corporation in Malaysia.
The
internal construction of the TI-5005 II is based on a single-chip calculator
circuit and a printer mechanism. The display is connected with a flat cable
while the printer needs some hand soldering connections.
Texas Instruments continued this line of small printing
calculators, view the later TI-5005 IIB and TI-5006 II introduced
1991 resp. 1994.
