The
design of the original TI-605 was slightly changed to
accommodate smaller solar cells.
Dismantling
the TI-605 reveals a standard design of a far-east design of the 80's and
reveals the manufacturer of both the calculator and the single-chip calculator
circuit. Deciphering the date code "C-0487" points to Compal
Electronics, Taiwan.
