TI-502_PCB.jpg (39721 Byte)The TI-502 was one of the very cheap calculators sold by Texas Instruments. A small, slanted housing, rubber keys and a battery enhanced by a colorful type designation. That's it!

Between 1986 and 1987 four different colorings appeared:

TI-502 red
TI-502 blue
TI-502 yellow
TI-502 black

Production of the TI-502 was shifted 1992 to Thailand.

Texas Instruments continued the TI-500 line, view the TI-506 adding solar cells and the later
TI-507 or the TI-503SV.

The TI-508 with a similar design could be called a small desktop calculator.
