Production
of the TI-2200 II Checkwriter was shifted
in 1991 from Taiwan to Thailand. In 1996 the TI-2200 II was replaced by the fancy TI-2200+,
then manufactured in Malaysia.
The
featured TI-2200 II was manufactued in 1995, about 13 years after the
introduction of the original TI-2200.
Dismantling
the TI-2200 II reveals no surprises, the printed circuit board (PCB) is more or
less identical with the previous model.
