You are right, this is definite no electronic calculator. This funny game demonstrates the possibilities of the speech technology introduced with the Speak & Spell and later enhanced with the Super Speak & Spell.

The Touch & Talkies game uses the names of some Walt Disney figures to teach numbers, clothes, faces and some other simple things.

A slightly modifies housing was used on the musical edition "Silly Soundstage", "Wordy Wagon" and the "Crazy Clubhouse".

The speech synthesizer used in this game dated 1993 is from much better quality compared to the original Speak & Spell.
