The TI-32 added a tiltable display to the normal scientific functions known from other calculators like the TI-31. There is no relation to the later TI-32 Explorer Plus.
The TI-32 Solar features a very special design to accommodate huge solar cells.
Another calculator with a tiltable display was introduced already in 1986 with the TI-1768.
