This early TI-52 Prototype was manufactured in April 1985 by Toshiba in Japan.

The battery holder of this early TI-52 Prototype is identical with the TI-30 Galaxy.

The first design of the TI-52 makes use of two printed circuit boards (PCB's). The smaller PCB accommodates the
single-chip calculator circuit, the display and the battery contacts. The larger one just the keyboard.
