TI-44_IC.jpg (33556 Byte)The internal construction of the TI-44 is more or less identical with the TI-1030 introduced June, 1978.
The whole calculator uses one flexible printed circuit board (Flex-PCB) with the integrated circuit and a LCD-module. You won't find any soldering or usage of screws within the calculator.

TI-44_IC2.jpg (40858 Byte)Like the TI-30 LCD the TI-44 was available long time and received some minor redesigns during production time. Late models make use of a TP0322 in a smaller package.
