The
TI-37 Galaxy Solar added a usable display to the TI-35
Galaxy Solar. Instead of 5 digits for the mantissa you could now use 10
digits. Funny thing: The precision of calculations is worser than expected! The
same calculator chip was used in the TI-36 Solar.
Difficult to understand is the reason why the same calculator was sold in Europe with the TI-52 Solar name plate.
We discovered three "calculator pairs" in the Galaxy series:
US-Market |
European-Market |
| TI-35 Galaxy | TI-30 Galaxy |
| TI-35 Galaxy Solar | TI-30 Galaxy Solar |
| TI-37 Galaxy Solar | TI-52 Solar |
In 1986 the design style of the TI-37 Galaxy Solar was
slightly changed. View the "green" calculator here.
