This Toshiba LC-1252 is a really interesting, solar powered calculator. It moves features known from typical desktop calculators like the TI-5100 II into a much smaller housing.

The LC-1252 features:

12-digit calculating capability
Two independent memories
Automatic summation of entries
Easy correction of entries

Dismantling this Toshiba LC-1252 calculator manufactured early in 1984 reveals a very clean design centered around a Toshiba T6896 single-chip calculator circuit.
