The housing of the Galixa
Speech fixes the Galaxy 40x and holds the loud speaker. The
connection between the calculator and the custom specific electronics is provided by a flexible circuit board.

The Galixa Speech makes
use of the Z80 compatible Hitachi HD64180, 8 kByte RAM and 256 kByte ROM. Other components are a Real-Time clock, drivers for the loudspeaker and the battery compartment. |
