This Heathkit IC-2009 was sold in June 1973 as a kit to a hobbyist in the US.

The Heathkit IC-2009 is powered by six rechargeable AA-sized NiCd batteries.

The IC-2009 with it backside of the housing removed.

The double-sided printed circuit board (PCB) of the IC-2009
is covered mostly with the Klixon keyboard assembly.

The PCB of the IC-2009 is centered around a TMS0103 single-chip calculator circuit.
