The Commodore Minuteman 2SR is powered by 4 N-size rechargeable batteries.

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the Commodore MM.2SR is centered around a MOS Technologies MCS2523
single-chip calculator circuit and supported by a pair of SN75491 and ITT 492 display drivers.
