This Canon Palmtronic LC-MEMO  was manufactured in 1978.

Calculator chip-set of the Canon LC-MEMO. The left of 
the two chips is a memory to hold 21 information items.
The other chip is responsible for the display and keyboard.

The unusual 8-segment display. The additional segment
is obvious with the letters T and M shown below.
