This EC-402 calculator is obviously an OEM product manufactured by Toshiba. The inside view gives not only a Toshiba calculator chip and the typical battery holder found in the LC-847 II but even states "Toshiba Corp." on the printed circuit board. Comparing the layout of the printed circuit board carefully reveals 100% identical artwork.
