This Radio Shack EC-3001 printing desktop calculator could be easily identified as a Texas Instruments product. It is 100% identical with the TI-5050M introduced already in June 1976.
The
backside of the EC-3001 looks very familiar to us. It makes use of the original
TI-5050M mold and hides its true genes under a small label.
The EC-3001 and the EC-3004 were the last Texas Instruments printing desktop calculators sold under the
Radio Shack brand, later models based on far-east OEM products.
