This Radio Shack EC-2000 desktop calculator could be easily identified as a Texas Instruments product. If you compare the layout of the keyboard with the TI-3500 you'll notice an identical assembly, even the sliding switches and the power switch match in style and position. Don't miss the earlier EC-1000 based on the TI-3000 but using a completely different housing.
Removing
the backside of the housing proves our ideas - the complete printed circuit board
(PCB) of the calculator is borrowed from the TI-3500.
The EC-2000 was the last Texas Instruments desktop calculator sold under the
Radio Shack brand, later models based on far-east OEM products.
