We learned
from Texas Instruments that they developed a family of next-generation Personal
Learning Tool products based on the LINUX operating system. The
The PLT DS1
cradle features just basic some connectivity:

USB 1.1 connector • Serial interface, e.g. for Calculator-Based Laboratory™ CBL 2™ or keyboard • |
Disassembling the PLT DS1 reveals nothing more than 3 connectors
for the above mentioned connectivitiy and a driver for the USB port on a small
PCB (printed circuit board).
