The internal construction of the TI-83 Plus with a
Z80 microprocessor, 32k Byte RAM and 512 kByte
Flash-ROM and a supporting ASIC on the main PCB.
The second PCB holds the LCD-driver circuit.

The enhanced TI-83 Plus Silver Edition raised the
Flash-ROM capacity to 2 MByte and integrated
the Z-80 microprocessor into the supporting ASIC.
Even the LCD-driver was shrinked somewhat.

The new TI-84 Plus Silver Edition integrated
not only the Z-80 microprocessor but also the
RAM and USB logic into an ASIC. The LCD-driver
is now integrated on the main PCB.
