This TI-Nspire COLOR Prototype was manufactured in 2010 China.

The backside of the TI-Nspire COLOR features a
cover to access the rechargeable battery.

The internal construction of the TI-Nspire COLOR makes use of just two printed circuit boards (PCBs),
one for the computing unit, color LC-Display and power supply and one for the keyboard.

The main PCB is connected to the color LC-Display.

The brain of the TI-Nspire COLOR is actually a System-on-Chip based on Toshiba's ASIC technology.

The memory of the TI-Nspire COLOR is composed of a Multichip Package
with both the Flash-ROM and SDRAM combined.

On the backside of the PCB we located this Macronix MX29SL402
Flash-ROM with 4M Bit capacity.
