Compared
with the early Little Professor with the LED display this one uses a LCD to ask
the child one of thousands pre-programmed math questions.
Instead of the membrane keys introduced
with the
Little Professor (1982) sold in the United States this one uses
traditional keys. The technology of the
keyboard and the housing is similar to the TI-1032
LCD calculator.
Currently we know
only few of this Little Professor, all were sold in the United Kingdom. Even the
manual states "United Kingdom" on the first page, let us assume that
the model was available only on the Island.
Update December 2020: Fabrice from France just reported that this version of the Little Professor was available around 1984 in France, too. Thanks!
This cutie was later restyled and got the housing of a common scientific calculator. Don't miss the Little Professor (1985).
