Just a cost optimzed version of the original Little Professor. Texas Instruments dropped even the label on the backside of the toy to reduce the bill of material a few cents.
More dramatic changes took place inside the calculator! The housing of the TMS0975 single-chip calculator circuit was shrinked by approximately 30 percent.
During 1980 the Little Professor got additional keys for ON/OFF and LEVEL. Compare them here.
