The original TI-1768 introduced in 1986 sported larger solar cells and a slightly different housing.
In Europe an identical calculator sporting a darker housing was sold with the TI-606.
Dismantling this late TI-1768 reveals indeed a printed circuit board (PCB) known already from the TI-606.
The later TI-1768
II got a smoother housing.
