Fifteen
years ago Texas Instruments entered with the TI-1766
the market of LCD-calculators powered by solar cells. We found a lot of
different designs with the TI-1766 II, TI-1766
III and this TI-1766+. But none in the line got before a tiltable display
like the TI-1768 and TI-1768
II.
With the TI-1706+ a calculator with a more traditionel housing was introduced.
