We know this very stylish and flat housing from the TI-1755 introduced one year earlier. This TI-1036 succeeds the earlier TI-1035.

Dismantling the TI-1036 reveals the typical construction of this era:

A single-chip calculator IC in a conventional housing
A small printed circuit board (PCB) fixed with heat-stamping in the housing
The LC-Display connected with a flat cable

Don't miss the identical TI-1002 sold in Canada.
