The TI-1700 DataClip squeezed already in 1977 the whole electronics of
a basic calculator into a small housing. It was obviously manufctured in U.S.A.

The TI-1700 with removed top and bottom housing shell.

The printed circuit board (PCB) on the left holds a Toshiba single-chip calculator circuit
and the LC-dsiplay. The keyboard, battery contacts and on/off switch use a foil with traces.
