This TI-2550 III (Version 2) was manufactured in October 1977 by
Texas Instruments in Lubbock, TX (Date code MTA 4077 » wk 40 yr 1977).

The TI-2550 III with its keyplate removed showing only one sliding switch.

The printed circuit board (PCB) of the TI-2550 III is centered around a TMS1043
single-chip calculator circuit based on the TMS1000 Family.
The small 33pF capacitor soldered to the TMS1043 is probably used to adjust its operating speed.
